My Name Yarmulkas

Here’s a great way to celebrate you child learning to write his/her name.

Materials:

• Plain, white yarmulkes (I used satin)
• Marker
• Embroidery hoop
• Embroidery thread
• Needle

Step 1: Have your child write his/her name on a plain yarmulke

Step 2: Next do a simply cross-stitch (sew “x”s) over the marker to preserve the writing.
