Nitilat Yadayim Towel
(suggested by Laurie M.)

Here’s an easy way to teach your children the ritual of washing the hands before the Shabbat meal (prayer or no, it’s a good thing to wash up before eating!)

Materials:

• Dish towel
• Fabric paint
• Paintbrush
• Children’s hands!

Directions:

1. Lay out a clean dish towel.

2. Pour paint into a pan or bowl

3. Have child press palms of hands into paint and then onto the towel

4. Paint the words “Wash Hands” on the towel
