Stained Glass Apple and Honey Plate

Materials:

• Glass plate
• Small glass bowl
• “Mod Podge” or similar
• Sponge applicators
• Various colors of tissue paper
(I found a gold tissue paper that
   really looked pretty)

Step 1: Turn plate UPSIDE DOWN and working on the bottom of the plate, brush Mod Podge onto glass plate

Step 2: Rip or cut tissue paper into smaller pieces (these do not have to be neat or even)

Step 3: press tissue in random fashion onto the Mod Podge (may have to reapply glue in sections where glue has dried.) Overlap tissue in places making sure entire glass is covered

Step 4: When surface is completely covered in tissue, brush Mod Podge over tissue to seal

Step 5: Allow to dry for at least 1 hour (until no longer tacky)

Step 6: Repeat with bowl

Step 7: When dry, flip plate over and place bowl on top. Add a honey server and you have a beautiful serving set ready to welcome a Sweet New Year!
