Supplies:

Martha Stewart crafting paper (evening terrace)

Martha Stewart blue ombre gem stickers

Martha Stewart 1/16-inch circle punch

Martha Stewart fine-tip glue pen

Martha Stewart sterling glitter

Martha Stewart double sided glitter tape

Blue plastic drinking straw

Fine tipped craft scissors

Battery operated tea lights

Instructions:

Using template as guide, cut paper

Cut tiny slot in the top panel for the straw

Stick gems to each panel (note:  you will be making 8 dreidels.  Use 1 gem/panel for 1st night, 2 gems/panel for 2nd night…8 gems/panel for 8th night)

Using 1/16-inch circle punch, punch holes on each panel to allow light to shine through

Using fine-tip glue pen, fold and glue dreidel together

Cut blue straw to 3”

Wrap top 1 ¼ inch of straw with glitter tape

Roll taped end in glitter to cover

Insert straw in top of dreidel

Bottom of dreidel is not sealed shut.  Stand dreidel on top of tea light by inserting “flame” into bottom opening of dreidel

Turn on light and watch it glow

Variations for craft:

1. Reduce template and attach smaller  dreidels to folded card stock and use as place cards
2. Thread ribbon through paper dreidels to make a festive garland
3. Enlarge template and use heavier stock to create dreidel gift boxes (fill with chocolate coins)
