Blocks and Bears Menorah

Perfect for baby's first menorah!

Materials:

• Plank of bass wood
• 10 wood toy ABC blocks

• 3 toy teddy bears (I found these at Michael's)
• 9 metal snaps (like you would use for pants) just need the bottom part
• 9 birthday cake candles in plastic holders
• acrylic paint (I used blue, but you can use any color)
• glue glue gun and sticks

Step 1:
Paint wood plank

Step 2: Using wood glue, glue blocks onto plank, stacking two in the middle for the shamas.

Step 3: Using glue gun, glue bottom part of metal snaps (like you would use for pants) on top of each block.   Then glue candles in the plastic holders into the snaps (the holders will hold the candles each night--snaps are too wide to support candles).  Then glue teddy bears so that they sit on the wood and rest against the blocks.

Close up:

Happy Chanukah!
